Covers
There are two general types of screen protectors. One type is hard and the other type is a film that you sort of glue on. I generally like the film type of protector as it has a little bit of anterior-posterior give to it and some perpendicular resistance which is more like paper. Since it is only one thin layer there is not much give, especially when compared to having several layers of paper on a drawing board but it does help with resistance. One thing to watch out for is that over time the film type screen protector can gradually lose the stickiness to the screen. This can cause problems with the pen interface especially if your trying to draw at an angle or curve as it will kind of wobble. Basically if this starts happening just get a new film screen cover one and replace the old one. There are many vendors and which ones make a product for you will depend on the type and size of tablet you have. When applying the film, make sure the orientation is right so the holes in the film for the camera is oriented on the right edge of the tablet. I have also drawn with out the film screen protector and the screen is a little slick without so I do recommend getting one as it will make it feel more like what you are used to with paper.
