This is a slide show of some of the quick sketches, about 25 minutes each, that I did earlier this month one night. The model was picking really dynamic poses and I enjoyed the studio.

Portrait of Woman

This was a long pose portrait of a woman done with a digital drawing tablet. I used black pencil and then added some white highlights and reds. Model did a pretty good job of holding the pose and coming back after the breaks.

Quick Sketch Standing Female Figure Drawing

This was a 30 minute quick sketch of a standing female figure drawing model. I was pretty happy with the gestural and loose feel to the drawing. This was made with the pencil tool in sketchbook on my surface book. I have been trying to get back to drawing now that the pandemic has started wind down as the last couple of years has not been very good in terms of drop-in figure drawing.
