Standing Female Figure Model Torso
This was a side view of a standing female figure drawing model. Duration of the pose was about 25 minutes. I have started to use a new program called Fresco and it has been a bit of an adjustment from sketchbook.

These were two 25-minute poses. First was the torso, which was a nice pose, and second was the portrait. I arranged the two drawing to fit and merged the layers into one. The portrait has some highlights in white. Haven’t been posting much recently but hope to post more going forward.
It has been a while since I posted as I have not been doing as much drawing as I would like. What I have been doing, the overall quality level was not what I would have liked. However, this group of figures I did at one open studio and then collaged them together. The figure on the left was rotated to fit in with the two on the right.
This was a 25-minute pose which came out pretty well. I had been having some challenges with my drawing recently, but I started drawing more lightly and it seemed to fix the problems.
This was a 25-minute seated pose with a female figure drawing model. I would have liked more time on this pose, but I was happy with the way it was coming along. The tablet let me move the drawing around while I was working on it and so I was able to get the whole figure on one page with-out having some of it run off the page as I started it too far to the right and little lower than I should have.
These digital figure drawings were done at one open studio. The portraits were quick sketches of 10-15 minutes each and the figure was 25 minutes. They were on separate layers and I combined them to one page so I could post them as a single image.
This was a 25-minute digital figure drawing of a reclining female. I thought it had some sense of dynamic tension to it and so wanted to post it.
This was one 10-minute portrait and then a 25-minute figure drawing. I did both the black colored pencil tool on my surface book digital drawing tablet. I was pretty happy with the portrait as it seemed to catch some of her expression despite her mask so I decided to include it in this post.
This was a 30 minute quick sketch of a standing female figure drawing model. I was pretty happy with the gestural and loose feel to the drawing. This was made with the pencil tool in sketchbook on my surface book. I have been trying to get back to drawing now that the pandemic has started wind down as the last couple of years has not been very good in terms of drop-in figure drawing.
