This was a hour long pose with a standing female figure drawing model. She picked a difficult pose but did a good job of keeping in place. I decided to fix a pillow under her left arm on the chair back so she could put her weight on it. Mostly black pencil with a little bit of white highlight.
This was a long pose with a seated female figure drawing model. I worked on it for about 2 hours or maybe a little less. Started with black pencil and then added white pencil highlights. The right leg is a little bigger than it should be but it still has some of the depth that I was looking for. Lighting was pretty good.

This was a half an hour quick sketch of a female figure drawing model. Like the twist as it really makes the pose pop out.
This was an hour and a half pose, which came out pretty well. Backside of female figure drawing model. Trois crayon style colored pencil tool in black, brown and white.
The model had a sense of humor, and was a wearing a pirate hat and had a sword. Nice reclining pose so I had a chance to really get in a do some drawing. Sometimes a standing pose or a typical seated pose can lead to falling back into routines rather than stopping and really looking and thinking about the volume and form. But with a heavily foreshortened pose you have to stop and think or it will come out looking flat.
