I started with the pencil and then added shadows, highlights, reds and blue with the brush tool. Felt like it was making the transition to more of a painting or three crayon type approach.

Debated if I wanted to post this or not. Over the last couple of months I have been posting less as I been less free to draw in the evenings. This one was a nice example of the cross over from drawing to painting with digital media. Female model picked a nice pose. Started with the pencil tool and then added highlights and shadows with the flat brush tool. Would have liked more time to work on the values and edges, so this is still a little rough.
Seated Female Figure Drawing Model Short Pose. Model did a good job and held the pose. Lighting was ok so mostly worked on the gesture. All pencil but overall pretty happy with this digital drawing.
Been a while since I posted. This was a long pose with a standing male figure drawing model. He picked a hard pose with his arm up and did a good job with it. Probably a little wider than it really was but it kind of looks a little Herculean. Pencil tool with black followed by white highlights with the brush.
